We can build a Box Pod totally bespoke to you. From the exterior cladding, to the light sockets inside - you control the choices. There's not a flat-pack in sight. Our Box Pods are built with passion and pride.
Throughout our careers, we've been lucky to work alongside award-winning developers on luxury builds. This has honed the perfectionists within, and given us an excellent understanding of how to deliver quality workmanship. I'm Chris Thorne, welcome to Box Pods - my garden room design and build service for South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
Bristol born and bred, I've been lucky enough to settle and raise my family in Mangotsfield. I love all things sport related as well as the great outdoors - probably why this job suits me so well!
Football was my first love though (sorry Nina!) playing in my younger years and most recently having the honour of coaching my son's team, Mangotsfield Utd from the Under 7s to the Under 16s.
I'm a NVQ2 qualified carpenter but am experienced across the trades, including civil construction, dry lining and roofing.
Passionate about detail and creating unique spaces, bespoke to my customers.

Hi, I'm Dean and I've been working in the building trade for over 14 years. I'm a NVQ Level 2 qualified carpenter, and I've acquired many other multi-trade skills through working on big projects and developments.
Like Chris, I'm also a Bristol boy through and through. Having worked together for nearly a decade at an award winning developer, we've now chosen a new path that we're both extremely passionate about; building bespoke garden rooms in and around Bristol.
I'm a lover of the great outdoors. On weekends and in my spare time you'll catch me doing anything from hiking, sports, boating - if it's out in the fresh air, I'm there!
This really is a dream job, as not only do I get to craft our Box Pods outdoors (come rain or shine) but the overwhelming satisfaction when we see how happy our customer's are with their finished garden room - it's brilliant!
